Testing

The college admissions testing process begins during the 8th grade year.  All 8th-11th grade students are required to take the PSAT test which is a preview of the SAT.   Students are prepped for these tests during their English classes and these scores do appear on the students' high school transcript.  When students reach the spring of their junior year, they no longer take practice tests and actually sit for the ACT and SAT.  By senior year, students will have taken the last round of ACT and SAT tests along with the SAT II if necessary.

AP testing is also done during the high school years.  Student who take these tests may have the opportunity to receive college credit for their AP work.

All testing registration and test dates are listed by test type.  For more information on specific tests, please contact the Director of College Counseling.
