Alumni Tablet Support

 

If your tablet PC warranty extends beyond your time as a FRA student, FRA will continue to support your tablet PC. Please use the following resources so that we can better serve your needs:

1. Phone Support: Call the school toll-free @ 877-216-2013 ext. 4627. Support Hours: M-F (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

2. Email Support: Use the technology support link to submit a technology request. Someone will follow-up with you.

Graduating Senior and End of the Year Information:

Once you graduate FRA, you must uninstall ALL school related software. You will receive a reminder in assembly and a letter will be sent to your home.

3. Software Removal: Go to Start, Control Panel, then go to Add or Remove Programs. The following programs should be removed:

A. School related software -- all textbooks and course related software

B. Each student was sold a school agreement version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office must be removed. You may be able to purchase another school agreement version of Microsoft at the college or university that you attend. Please contact the technology support department of your college or university.

For free antivirus programs: AVG, Free-AV)

4. Academy Domain: Your tablet PC is a part of the FRA Network called the "Academy Domain." Your college may require you to disjoin this network and join their network. Before you do this, you will need to create a NEW local administrator account, otherwise you will lock yourself out of the computer.
