2012 Tablet Orientation and Pick-Up Information


The orientation and pick-up for the tablet computer consists of two parts. 
 
1. Orientation:  Students are required to watch a series of videos.  The orientation videos will be online beginning on July 10th, 2012.
 
2. Pick-Up Computer:  This is when you physically pick-up your computer.
 
Rising 7th Grade and New Families
--Date:  Monday, July 16th - Wednesday, July 18th (choose one day)
--Time:  Each Day:  8:00 a.m.-10:00 am. or 12:30-2:30 p.m. (choose one time).  Each session takes about two hours.  Arrive at the beginning and leave when you get your computer.
--Location:  L.M. Crockett Library Help Desk

NOTE:  If you are a rising 9th grader and new to FRA (9 to 12), there is an Upper School 101 (June 7th or July 19th).  Email June Barnes (barnesj@franklinroadacademy.com) for more information.  If you attend these sessions you will be using a loaner computer if you do not yet have your computer. 
 
Current 10th Grade and Other (who are scheduled to have their computer replaced):
--Date:  Tuesday July 24th - Thursday, July 26th (choose one day)
--Time:  Each Day:  8:00 a.m.-10:00 am. or 12:30-2:30 p.m. You may pick-up your computer anytime in the time range.  It takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the computer setups.
--Location:  L.M. Crockett Library Help Desk
