Extended Day
FRA recognizes the unique problems facing working parents in securing quality care in the hours before and after school. Our philosophy is to provide experiences far beyond “child-minding” in a setting that exemplifies our dedication to the whole child.

Extended Day begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. Students enrolled in this program are eligible to participate on early dismissal days, snow days, and school holidays. Full days and holidays require a minimum of twelve students to remain open.

Children participate in a variety of supervised, age-appropriate activities including art, cooking, sports, board games, and outdoor play. Students above grade one are provided a quiet area for study and homework preparation. Enrichments such as dance, guitar, piano, Karate, tennis, voice, fiddle, violin, Scrapbooking, and art are offered so parents will have more quality time with their children on the weekend..

Aftercare
The Middle School program is housed in the Middle School building. Their room is equipped with homework tables, games, and a television. The area provides a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of ownership for our Middle School students. The program is designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of our Middle School students.

All children are supervised by our staff of trained, experienced adults skilled in creating a warm and home-like atmosphere conducive to relaxation, socialization and creative play. In this setting, parents are assured that their children are receiving quality care and the same kind of love and attention they receive at home
